Industry and Offices
South of Kurt-Eisner-Straße
The depot, which got closed in 1952 and the freight transport shaped the urban area over the decades in the South of the Bayerischen Bahnhof. There were several signal boxes and extensive railway tracks on which travel and freight trains were assembled until the shutdown in the year 2001. The full dismantling of the old railway system in the course of the city tunnel construction offers enough room for new usage and ideas.
This new city part has excellent infrastructure and offers excellent growth opportunities and flexibility for different industries, institutions, and science.
